Ação Social com Crianças e Adolescentes no SAICA

Essence joined forces with Movimento Transbordar, an NGO and client of our creative boutique, for a special initiative at a SAICA, a Brazilian institutional care service dedicated to welcoming and protecting children and adolescents.

Movimento Transbordar supports women in vulnerable situations by promoting professional development, autonomy and new opportunities through activities such as embroidery, crochet, creative sewing and entrepreneurship. This time, we came together to extend that same sense of care to a space dedicated to children in need of temporary protection and support.

The initiative focused on transforming and decorating one of the staircases at the SAICA, turning an everyday passageway into a warmer, more welcoming and comforting environment for the children who live in and move through the space each day.

More than an aesthetic intervention, the project was created with the intention of bringing a new experience into the environment. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to add lightness, warmth, color and a greater sense of belonging, reinforcing our belief that the spaces around us can also influence how we feel.

For Essence, taking part in this initiative alongside a client whose purpose is deeply connected to social impact reinforces something we strongly believe in: creativity can also be a powerful tool for transformation.

Together with Movimento Transbordar, we brought creativity, sensitivity and care into a space that welcomes children every day, transforming a simple staircase into an environment designed to feel warmer, more thoughtful and more special.
